What is reverse logistics
Reverse logistics refers to the process in which a merchant customer entrusts a third-party logistics company to deliver items from the user's designated location to the merchant customer's location. Reverse logistics is promoted by merchants to recycle used, obsolete, and damaged products and packaging from customers. It moves from the downstream to the upstream of the supply chain. Logistics costs are settled centrally between merchant customers and third-party logistics companies. The entire process requires strong ERP docking system support from both merchants and logistics companies.
