Warehousing and logistics sites have dense goods and lurking risks, and fire safety has never been a slogan. On April 18, 2026, Baoshi Fulfillment started its annual fire emergency drill simultaneously in all warehouses, testing emergency plans in a practical manner, honing employee skills, and engraving the concept of "safety" into every operational detail.
The fire situation is the order, and the emergency response is linked to each other.
That afternoon, a simulated fire suddenly appeared in the warehouse packaging area. Witnesses immediately reported to the supervisor, and the commander-in-chief immediately issued instructions to activate the emergency plan. The piercing siren instantly sounded throughout the entire reservoir area. The five action teams of firefighting, rescue, evacuation, logistics, and medical treatment were like clockwork and rushed to their respective battle positions in a shorter period of time.
Evacuation guides are stationed at key points such as stairwells and passage corners, directing employees to lower their bodies, cover their mouths and noses, and evacuate quickly and orderly to safe assembly points along established escape routes. After the personnel arrived, the guidance team immediately checked the roster to ensure that no employee was stranded in danger.
On the other side, the fire-fighting team carried equipment and went straight to the location of the fire. After cutting off the power supply, they quickly launched initial fire suppression. The rescue team inspected the on-site electrical facilities one by one to see if they were out of power and confirmed whether all personnel had been evacuated room by room. The logistics team maintains order in the assembly area, collects and summarizes the number of people who should have arrived and those who actually arrived, and reports to the commander-in-chief on time. The medical team is on standby with first aid equipment and is ready to rescue simulated casualties at any time.
The whole operation was busy but not chaotic, and the cooperation between the groups was smooth and tacit, which fully reflected the calmness and professionalism of the Baoshi Fulfillment team in the face of emergencies.
Everyone gets started with practical operations and develops skills into their own abilities
After the evacuation link ends, the drill enters the practical teaching stage. The warehouse manager demonstrated the standard usage of fire extinguishers on site - "one lift, two pulls, three grips, four presses", and repeatedly warned key details such as "stand on the air outlet, aim at the root of the flame, and hold the root of the nozzle". Facing the burning drill brazier, the employees stepped forward to operate it one by one. From the initial rush to the calm response later, the fire-fighting skills were truly internalized in the hands-on experience.

The fire hose subject also does not go through the motions. Participants practiced hose throwing, interface docking, valve opening and water flow control in sequence, and combined with the actual layout of the warehouse, they learned how to lay hoses efficiently in narrow aisles or shelf gaps. These operations that are close to actual combat give employees the confidence to deal with larger-scale fires.
A two-pronged approach to hard-core security and normalized drills
After the exercise, the commander-in-chief conducted an on-site review. He not only affirmed the efficient response of each team and the dedication of all employees, but also pointed out the details that still need to be optimized in this operation based on the drill records over the years, marking the direction for subsequent rectification.
This drill once again confirmed the reliability and maturity of the Baoshi Fulfillment emergency system. Behind this is the company's continuous heavy investment in safety infrastructure - as a service provider that has been deeply involved in the field of warehousing and distribution for more than ten years, Baoshi Fulfillment operates more than 80,000 square meters of self-operated high-standard warehouses and intelligent unmanned warehouse clusters in Shanghai. All warehouse areas are built according to Category C and II fire standards and are equipped with professional security forces, full-coverage sprinkler devices, intelligent smoke detection systems and 24-hour no-dead corners monitoring network to build a three-dimensional security barrier. [

At present, the logistics industry is making great strides towards intelligence and digitization, and the complexity and importance of warehousing safety are rising simultaneously. The increase in the height of automated three-dimensional shelves and the increasingly diversified types of goods have put forward higher requirements for fire management. Only by adhering to the two-pronged approach of "normalized drills + intelligent security" can we truly protect people and preserve goods in emergencies.
In the future, Baoshi Fulfillment will continue to consolidate the emergency mechanism, continue to improve in a trinity of "training, drills, and technology", protect every trust of customers with more stringent standards and more professional qualities, and provide integrated warehousing and distribution services that reassure customers.
