In order to further enhance the professional skills and safety awareness of forklift drivers and create a good working atmosphere of "compare and catch up", in mid-April 2026, Baoshi Fulfillment successfully held the third "Baoshi Cup" forklift skills competition. 25 forklift experts from the three major warehouse areas of Jiuqiancang, Xinbang 1 Warehouse and Baoyishi Cang competed on the same stage and staged a skills competition that integrated professionalism, appreciation and fun.

Use competition to promote training, pay equal attention to theory and practice

This competition strictly follows industry standards and is divided into two parts: a closed-book written test of theoretical knowledge (40%) and an on-site operational skills assessment (60%). The theoretical examination focuses on the contestants' mastery of forklift safety regulations and maintenance knowledge; in the practical part, battery counterbalanced forklifts are used uniformly, requiring contestants to complete the whole process of standardized actions such as boarding the vehicle for inspection, sounding the horn to start, and standard parking. Details such as not blowing the whistle, not pulling the handbrake, and not observing the rear when reversing are included in the deduction items, which fully reflects the "safety" management concept.

Three major practical projects test accuracy and efficiency

The competition scene is full of climaxes, and the three major practical projects are cleverly designed to comprehensively test the players' control ability in complex environments:

Carrying objects over obstacles (S-turn detour)

Players need to drive a forklift to carry goods forward and reverse back in an S-shaped channel with a limited width. The speed limit is 5km/h throughout. The goods and tires must not touch the obstacle line or knock down the road pile. The project not only tests the driver's prediction of the vehicle's driving trajectory, but also emphasizes the psychological quality and micro-operation stability in a narrow space.

Every step is higher (precision stacking)

This project requires players to stack five layers of pallets upwards in sequence using a pallet with Coke bottles placed at the four corners as a support. Once a Coke bottle is tipped over, each will be penalized for 5 seconds. The audience held their breath and watched as they saw the forks of the forklift rise and fall smoothly, and the angles were fine-tuned to be accurately positioned. Their superb skills won bursts of applause.

Accurately tie the balloon

Within the 3-minute time limit, players need to control the steel needle fixed on the fork to puncture 10 balloons on the display stand in sequence. The project requires extremely high precision in controlling the lifting height and horizontal position of the forklift. The dual competition of speed and accuracy will push the competition to a fever pitch.

Safety culture is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and honors always witness growth

After more than three hours of fierce competition, the competition finally selected one first, second, and third prize winner, who were awarded cash prizes and honorary trophies respectively. All finishers received participation awards as encouragement. At the award ceremony, the company’s general manager spoke highly of the contestants’ professionalism and “zero-violation” operating habits.

In the sound of the shutter of the group photo of all the contestants, the third Baoshi Fulfillment Forklift Skills Competition came to a successful conclusion. This competition is not only a centralized review of the professional level of forklift drivers, but also an important measure for the company to continue to promote the construction of a talent team and build a strong defense line for safe production. In the future, Baoshi Fulfillment will continue to use skills competitions as a carrier to encourage employees to stay committed to their positions and improve their skills, injecting strong impetus into the company's high-quality development.
